O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree

So it seems that I'm still at school even though I finished my finals a week ago. (Thank you Lord for getting me through all my papers) I'm working in the admissions office until wed. and then I'll head home once the traffic has slacked off some. Hannah is coming up with me and then the next evening we're going to CANADA!!! We've been planning this trip for almost a year now, and we're finally going. Michael's going to come with us to make sure we don't get into too much trouble (yeah, right) and it will be a lot of fun. We're going to "party it up, yo" the way only good Christian girls know how. hehe. I'm going to see if my sister wants to come with, that would be a lot of fun. I haven't seen her since she left for UConn over the summer.

Let's see, what else is there? Oh!!! I bought a Christmas Tree yesterday! It is about 2 and a half feet tall. It is probably the cutest Christmas tree anyone has ever seen. I have to get a stand for it sometime tonight, but I'm not sure where to get one. I have to find the local WalMart or whatever. I have some gold tinsel to put on it as well as a few (by "a few" I mean 3) ordainments to put on it. Sarah has a few, and Jamie was going to go out and buy some. I'm so glad I just went out and bought it, if I hadn't no one else would have - which is sad. We have to have a Christmas tree, especially with all the presents we have for each other. This is so bad - I lost Jamie's birthday present!!! I bought her a pair of hand made earrings (the kind she like: big, gold and dangly) and I hid them somewhere in my room and now I can't find them. I was so sure that I put them in the drawer with the present I got my mom - but it's not there!!! I'm going to do an extensive search either tonight or tomorrow to find them, I need to find them soon seeing as her birthday is on Saturday. EEEEKKK!

It seems as though there is going to be a big Christmas bash/party at my house on Christmas day. My dad's sisters and their families are coming over for dinner and a gift exchange, and my mom is trying to get her brother to come over as well. I hope he does because I know he feels separated from his family because of his actions towards my aunt (his ex.) The rest of the family isn't so pleased with him; my mom and my sister and I are the only ones who still talk to him. I don't like what he did, but that's not a good reason to never talk to him again. Also two of my friends are getting married on New Year's Eve - which I'm very excited about. It's strange because Heidi is a year younger than I am, and she's getting married! AHHHH!!! That's truly frightening. I'm used to my sister's friends all getting married, not mine.

You should all go here: http://throughwaters.blogspot.com/2005/12/asl-project.html and watch my friend Brian sign a song that we worked on together to translate into ASL. It is amazing. Hopefully when he gets back from South America we can work on it together some more.

Now to Him who is able to accomplish so much more that we could possibly think or imagine, to Him be the glory, and the power forever and ever. Amen.
